Twin output shaft, double helical gear, reduction gear
box.
i.e. Banbury or similar. The following parameters are
sought:
a/ Reduction ratio of between 1:10 to 1:20 or better.
b/ Output shafts of at least 10” (254mm) required.
c/ Counter rotating output shafts essential.
d/ Centre distance of shafts between 18”min. to
24”max. (457mm – 609.6mm max.) is required.
Others will be considered.
e/ Single or 2 speed OK. Input horsepower up to 450
(170kw)
2/ Planetary gear reduction unit.
a/ Suitable to mount on driven shaft of 10”min.
to 12”max. (254mm – 304.8mm) Either direct
mount, or flange mounting considered.
b/ All ratios offered will be considered.
c/ Input shaft may be either direct mount or pinion
mount.
d/ Condition required: In good operating order.
3/ Single output, double helical gear, reduction
gear box.
a/
Output shaft of between 10”min. to 12”max.
(254mm – 304.8)
b/
Input shaft of between 4”min. to 6”max.
(100mm to 150mm)
c/
Ratio required between 5:1 min through to 1:50 acceptable.
d/
Condition expected: Good operating order.
Rebuild considered, depending on availability of spare
parts.

Purpose
required: Break down of shredded automotive tires.
Capacity:
Between 2 to 4 tons per hour.
Drive type: Hydraulic, helical gear, or planetary reduction.
Motor source: Either electric or diesel.
Auxiliary equip: Magnetic screening, vacuum system,
& cyclones if available.
Condition: In good useable condition, right down to
the point of requiring a full overhaul. Either condition
acceptable.
